Read MoreScott was my friend and colleague for the better part of 30 years or so. We worked together at TAMUS through every imaginable type of legal issue. We argued, laughed, and cried together. I treasure our friendship and will miss him forever. Losing him and Jimmy Bond within such a short time is sad beyond words. The three of us were a great team.

We were neighbors for 25 or so years but only got to know Scott more closely after his illness started taking a toll on him physically. I found Scott to be intelligent but more importantly a good listener. We sat on his deck and talked on several occasions and each time we did I shared prayer with him. He never failed to thank me for the visit and prayer. I feel that I am a better person from my time with him. I pray that the family is experiencing the peace of God knowing that their loved...
