OMG I am a huge fan of SGT Kirkpatricks poetry. You are a hero to so many people. Your memory and your art will live on forever. We love and respect you, and although we never knew you personally, we have been connected to you through your words. Thank you for that. I actually have the honor to pay my respects to you tomorrow during an assembly. Once again thank you for leaving us poems like "When Taps is played" for little towns like Wetumpka, that shows us who our real heros are!

Scott made a profound impact on me, as I imagine he has on everyone he has met. I will never forget him and...

To Scott's Family,
With heartfelt appreciation on this upcoming Veteran's Day and Scott's birthday for Scott's courage and sacrifice, and for the sacrifice of all of you.
I have posted a "memorial"
honoring Scott on our Veteran's Day wall in the lobby of Park View High School. God bless.
