Scott P. Kurth 56, Wausau, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born April 29, 1954 in Wausau, son of the late Erich and Arletta (Manney) Kurth. On May 10, 1986 he married Cynthia "Cindie" Kenyon at the Eau Claire Dells. She survives. Scott held several jobs throughout his life including many positions at the Health Care Center for 15 years and salesman at Sears. He most recently was attending school to acquire his degree in information technology. Scott loved the Beatles, old and fast cars and photography, especially of nature. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his many practical jokes. Survivors include his wife, Cindie, Wausau; daughter, Sarah (Bill) Busby, Mobile, Alabama; son, Daniel Kurth, Mobile, Alabama; grandchildren, Brandon and Katelyn Busby, both of Mobile, Alabama; three brothers, Thomas (Dianne) Kurth, Ladysmith, Daniel (Polly) Kurth, Marion and James (Lynn) Kurth, Wausau, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. James Schaefer will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to North Central Technical College, Wausau. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Riveron and staff and to the Aspirus Cardiac Unit for all their care and compassion given to Scott. Dear Cindy, My heart goes out to you, I am so sorry for your loss. Scott was a good man and I enjoyed working with him at NCHC, he will be dearly missed.
