February 4 I remember Scott from high school, and although I hadn't seen him for many years-not since he was in Emerson--I enjoyed his wicked sense of humor. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Scott's death. Though we hadn't been in touch much these last years, I will always remember him as one of my dearest friends from high school. We worked on many plays and musicals together and our group of friends were some of the best people I've ever known. Scott lit up any room he entered and gave great joy to me and all who had the honor of knowing him. The world is a lesser place without him in it. Scott, I hope you have found peace and eternal...

Scott was larger than life (not just his height) his laugh, his approach to life, and his soul. I too had lost touch with him and will regret that for a long time. I always admired his skill on stage and his ability to turn the worst of times and people into a good old laugh. He is someone that leaves an unforgettable image on your brain and your heart. I hope he has a great stage to act on now. Take Care Scott!

My deepest sympathies to the Langmaid family. I have such fond memories of Scott. I met Scott in 5th grade at Green Street School. We did the musicals together in High school and Choir. He was such an amazing person and will be missed.

Dear Mark Who can forget the HUGE smile that was Scott Langmaid? He is a big part of why I love love love the musical South Pacific! I know this must be a hard time for you but I hope it helps to know that MANY of us all over the country remember your brother so fondly. Best wishes, Heidi Reuter Plunkett Class of 80

Scott was one of my dearest friends in high school. I think we were in every single play together. We did not stay in touch over the years, but I frequently remembered him and wondered where he was. He was funny. He was irreverent (I loved that!). He was fearless. He was a loyal friend. I will never forget him.

I'm so very sad to learn about Scott's passing. He was so funny and sweet. Although we didn't stay in touch, when we always shared laughs and hugs with each other when we did cross paths. I have great memories of doing theater with him growing up and he even came to our wedding in 1994. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He'll be missed.

Mark, I was very sorry to hear about Scotty. We stayed in touch until a few years ago. I've put a few photos in of happier times.
