Not sure what to say?

Joy, Leah, Sam. I am sorry for your loss, great father and friend..much more. I remember the very first moment I met Scott at TI, December, 1988. We were new from Iowa and Scott immediately reached out, showing us the big town of dallas that weekend. Always a smile.

Joy, Leah, Sam, we are thinking of you. With love and hugs, Lisa, Chris, Leah, Layne, and Luke.

Joy, I was so sad to hear the news and my heart goes out to you and your family. I can't imagine how you all are making it through such a sad time. You are such a special person and I know your faith in Jesus Christ will help guide you and He will bless you and your family. I will keep you all in my prayers through these tough times.

Joy and kids,
Scott and I were good friends in high school, and I have fond memories of summer evenings spent cruising around in his Dad's big brown Cadillac. More recently, we had the opportunity to reconnect as adults, and in the few e-mails we exchanged, I was immediately struck by the Godly man he had become. Your husband and Dad was such a good friend to many in his youth; and it's apparent he became a man worthy of your pride and love. You are in my prayers.

Dear Joy, Leah and Sam,
We were so saddened to hear of your family's loss. We so enjoyed our times with your family during our home group days years ago. Scott was never without a smile and his enthusiasm was contagious. Please know you are in our prayers.

Dear Joy, Leah and Sam. It is with great sadness that I heard about the passing of Scott. Scott and I worked for a number of years on the Army Project in New Jersey. Scott was a team member on a project I was responsible for, who conducted himself with professionalism, dedication and most importantly humour. From his time with the Army Project we became friends and have kept in contact over the years. All my thoughts and prayers to you in this difficult time. - Don Smith (Calgary Alberta,...

Dear Leiding Family,
I worked with Scott almost 10 years ago on the Army project in New Jersey. As far as careers go, Scott and I did not work very long together, but he left a lasting impression on me. What a great guy! We stayed in touch over the years and I always thought of him and reached out every year when I made the beef jerkey recipe that he gave me. Its just one of those things, I guess.
I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. My prayers are with your Family and...
