Not sure what to say?

Sorry for so many repeats. It didn't appear to be working on June 4.

I met Scott after I found his driver's license on Folly Beach, SC. I contacted him and we became pen pals. This was during his junior year at Annapolis. I came up and went to the Army Navy game with him. He was such a fun loving and very nice person. I invited him to my wedding and he actually came. He changed his clothes at the church for the wedding with my husband to be. We were shocked. This was right before his graduation from the Naval Academy. He said he wanted to be come a...

We met long ago after I found his ID on Folly Beach , SC while he was visiting during the time he was at Annapolis. He was exactly as you describe him here. He came to my wedding 46 years ago. I was shocked! I have though about him often since that time. So very sorry to hear that he left this life so early. It saddens me that his personality is no longer on earth for people to enjoy. God bless to his family.

Oh my goodness... it has been that long already? I can only trust Ann and family have been able to deal and heal... and continue to do so. We miss Scott and all of you!

We met Scott and Ann while serving in Okinawa together and got to be good friends. His favorite song at that point was Strokin' by Clarence Carter. I still smile when I think of him singing that song and having such a good time. What a fun time we had. He always had a smile.

Dear Ann,

I am so very sorry for your sudden loss of Scott. It pains me that we did not have a chance to spend much time together during the reunion. I have had you and Scott’s memories on my mind all week. Sadly, I won’t be able to make the funeral, as I was not able to rearrange enough of my schedule to get to Portsmouth. You and your family will be in my prayers throughout this difficult time. As the Bible states in Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and...

Ann, Debbie and I love you; we hurt for you; we miss Scott terribly.
Todd, Kate and Jake, your Dad was my best friend growing up. If it were not for his fanatical love of the Naval Academy, I may never have gone myself - he was just that infectious! Although he certainly "rated" a better "Best Man" than I, it was an honor to serve him and your Mom in that capacity. Your Dad was an incredible man, a great example in those areas which matter most - a true man of faith, a dovoted husband...
