Not sure what to say?

He was such a kind and gentle man. Still miss him.

I am so sorry about Scott. He was such a kind man. You have all my sympathy. God bless.

Truly believe if it wasn't for this t-shirt 5th grade I would not be running that today in my life tragic loss of an amazing person and teacher

I'm sorry to hear of Scott's passing. He was such a fine person. I loved his positivity and his sense of humor. I so enjoyed the hunting and fishing stories we shared. The fact that on many days he would go fishing before coming to school always impressed me.

From the picture above it looks like you made it up to Alaska! I'm so happy about that, I know that was a dream of yours. I always enjoyed the thrill on your face each time you saw a struggling student finally understand the concept you were teaching. And I so loved your stories about getting up early to climb a mountain peak around town, arriving in time for the sunrise. You're a special person and I'm glad for the time we shared when our paths crossed at Lawrence Intermediate School....

I'm SO sorry to hear of Scott's death, but I certainly hope it was peaceful. Scott and I attended the University of Northern Iowa together and we knew each other well, but didn't stay in touch after graduation. He introduced me to the Rolling Stones, for which I have always been grateful. It's wonderful to know that he enjoyed life as an art teacher and family man. His was a good heart and he is remembered fondly by many. Blessings to the family.

I was fortunate to have known Scott at Lawrence. He was always polite, helpful, and positive. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Sorry to read about Scott's passing. We had some great times growing up together in Denison. Playing baseball together, sledding down hospital hill and many others activities. Scott loved listening to the Rolling Stones. RIP my friend
