Mr. Scott Macomber, 51, passed away Friday evening March, 9, 2007 in Jesup following a sudden illness.

A native of Middleburg New York, he had moved to Blackshear 13 years ago. He was a truck driver for Wall timber for the past 12 years and had attended the Gloversville Assembly of God in Gloversville, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Scott and Josephine Rose Dirago Macombers. Scott will be remembered for his love of his family, fishing and riding go-carts and four wheelers with his grandchildren.

Survivors are his wife Barbara Keicher Macomber of Blackshear; three daughters and sons-in-laws, Vickey and Tommy Cooper and Annie and Robert Troutman all of Blackshear and Debbie Hulbert of Roanoke Virginia; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Stacia Colley of Gloversville, New York and Donnie Pike Of Catskill, New York; two sisters and a brother in-law, Kathy and Jim Fisherauer and Deborah Macomber all of Schenectady, New York; one brother and sister in-law, Jim and Elaine Aldi of Schenectady, New York; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two special nephews and a special niece, Jim and Joe fisherauer and Jennifer Fisherauer all of Schenectady, New York and other nieces and nephews and relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Macomber will be held Wednesday morning, March 14, 2007, at 11: o’clock from the Pearson-Treadwell Chapel.

Interment will be in the Blackshear City Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Macomber will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
