The entry came from Kym Freedman, Suffield CT.
Sorry for not adding my name to the message.

Scott was a very giving soul, a magnetic person and most of all an around lovable man.

He oozed of kindness, was a gentleman and had a beautiful rich soul.

The last time I saw Scott he was making omelettes for a group of us when he stopped by at a home he was working on. He just got up and offered to make breakfast.

He did these acts of kindness a lot and went about it quietly.

My heart goes out to Loriann and the entire McLain family.

I'm so very sorry...

Alex and Ray,

I saw your uncle play in many bands over the years, and it was great to see you both share the stage with him. Scott's energy was always larger than life and you never knew what to expect next from him. He always made time to talk and he was so friendly.
Sending many condolences and prayers of comfort for you and your family, and to anyone who ever shared a stage with Scott.

Sorry for your loss. May you cherish your memories of him.

RIP uncle Scott. You touched many lives and will be greatly missed!

To all of Scotts good friends and family, you have my most sincere condolences on this sudden loss.
