Not sure what to say?

Scott, I can't believe it's been 15 years since I saw your smiling face. Lord knows I miss you! You would be so proud of your boys! The best men I know. You left a huge hole in my heart. I will always love you. Come on, one more silly, hilarious story. Best sound effects ever! Such a good man, gone far too soon

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We knew Scott and his family since the 70's! We had lots of great times and laughs. We love Scott and all the Mertens family.
Miss you always.
Laura Dowling-Roy and the Dowling Family.

I was so shocked to hear the news of Scott's passing. He will forever be in my thoughts and the family in my prayers.

Please accept my condolences and sympathy for the passing of Scott. I knew him through our elementary to high school years, and I would usually run into him during my visits back home. He always made a point of greeting me and asking about my family. Even though I haven't seen him in many years, he will be missed. My blessings and prayers are with his Family during this difficult time.

Dear Mertens Family, We are so sorry for your loss. We are going to miss Scott's smile and sunny demeanor. Our Condolences, Krissy and Chris Lindbaek

Dear Bob and Joan, Kathy and I were shocked when we heard the news of Scotts passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this terrible time. We are thinking of you constantly, and just pray that you both are ok. There is nothing that we can say that has not already been said. We are very sorry. Skip and Kathy

Dear Joan, Bob and family, We are so sorry about Scott. It just seems like yesterday when our children all played together in VA. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the Lord keep you all in his care. Please keep in touch and lets get together when you feel up to it. Love and Prayers Janice & Neil.

To the Mertens Family:
I have been out of town and returned to hear of the very sad news of Scotts death. I just cannot help but recall what a wonderfull, fun loving boy he was and what loving, caring parents you were to
not only your own kids, but all of the children who grew up around him. Please know that my prayers are with all of you and I wish I was there to hug you. May you find peace in knowing that others care so much about you and yours.

To the entire Merten's family-
Death is never an easy thing, but you have the support and love of all your friends and family around you. Know that all of you are in my and my families thoughts and prayers. I last spoke to Scott around fall. He was a good man who raved about his family and how much he loved and appreciated them. I thought you should know.
