Scott, it was 42 years ago at Pleasant Street School that I met you on the playground during a game of Dodgeball in fifth grade. You were that kid who made me feel welcome, having just started at a new school. You were the kid who took the time to smile at the kid who felt timid after leaving a private school (Mount Merici) with
discipline and starting anew at another school with no discipline.
Scott, I wish now that I had somehow kept in touch all those years ago. Unfortunately...
