So I have now run out of plastic drumsticks for your headstone and have inquired with Vic Firth on obtaining some more . You are missed every day by the family as you touched us in a way only a big brother and mentor could. I love you

So we honored Uncle Hughie last month with the dedication of the new Fire Station 25 behind named in the Morris family honors. I was privileged to speak on behalf of our side of the family and Garrett Morris, the son of Henry Morris whom you played with many times at the house. It was a proud day and even Rachelle & Matt came down and brought Cole & Jake. The boys took pictures sitting on the original firetruck. A proud day for the Morris family. Wish you were there but I'm sure you were...

He was a great drummer in the Spyders in San Mateo in the mid-sixties. I helped carry hus drums to several Spyders shows.

Still cannot believe that it's been 17 years since I last spoke with you. Still think about you each day and the impact that you had on so many people is amazing. Rachelle recently shared a note you gave to her that instilled in her your feelings of love , family and being true to one's self. We are living through a pandemic, Covid 19 that you would have gone crazy about, yet you would have been there to support your family. I miss you, love you and appreciate each day that I was able to be a...

I was in a rock group with Scott in 1964-65 in San Mateo called the Spyders. So, we did a few gigs together, before my family moved to Santa Monica. I went to his house on a few occasions. He was such an incredible guy, so talented, supportive, and friendly. I especially remember his eyes, which shined with love and energy for everyone and everything. One memory is Scott telling me where to buy the Beatles butcher cover, which was in a few stores. He was a great person, and I miss him alot....

Hey Scott,
A few weeks ago Tom, Nancy, Darleen and I made a special trip to Yoshi's to catch Steve Smith and his band pay tribute to "Buddy Rich".
I had remembered seeing a tape that you had from long ago where Steve is talking and playing to many students at one of your clinics. I brought that tape to Yoshi's and gave it to Steve. He noticed that there was also footage of him playing a tribute to Buddy way back then. He shook my hand, signed your 1st "Drum...

I knew Scott at Serra. He was good
hearted and had a fine sense of humor. My formative years were
enriched by a long ago friendship.
God guide this fine soul and may
God bless those Scott loved.

I was very saddened to hear the news of my cousin Scott passing. We never got to spend as much time together as family as I would of liked to, what wonderful memories I have of him. Always smiling when we did meet. Scott made and wonderful impression in my life at a very early age. I always felt blessed having him in my family. My prayers are with the family. You are a "Hero" in many many eyes. You will be truley missed.
