I first met Scott when I was a State Senator and he was a newly elected state representative. Over the years, in our various public service roles we kept in touch. The thing I will always keep in my heart about Scott is his joy-and his pride in his family. Scott enjoyed life and oh, did he love to laugh! He made us laugh with his shenanigans and his commentary! Scott was truly one of the good guys! It was an honor serving with him in the Ohio Senate. We were on opposite sides of the aisle. But he was incredibly gracious and always had a friendly smile!
