Not sure what to say?

Dad, I miss you. I often wonder what my life would be like if you were still around. Would I still be a daddy's girl? Would you have taught me how to drive or walk me down the aisle? Would you be proud of me? I think about that the most. I hope I can always be someone you would be proud of. This year I realized I have spent over half of my life without you. I wish I could say I miss you less. I think I just remember less. I'll always miss you the same.

Scott - yesterday was rough. No sure why. Maybe it's because we're all going stir-crazy because of this lockdown, or maybe cause it dawned on my that it's been 13 years. 13! Damn, we only had you for 33. Can't believe you'd be almost 46. Life sure is different now. Oh, and Caitlyn is now married too. Not much details, as it was very small and private. Miss you tons. So wish the Corps didn't put us on opposite coasts.
Love ya' man.
Mark

Scott, this Saturday will be a hard one for me, our last conversation we had together on the flight line as prepared your aircraft for flight, while you joke with me about, why you don't have to do PT. I find myself every year looking on the refrigerator at your Hero Ribbion.

10 years..such a long time. Every day i miss your smile...your quirky humor. Your children miss you too. I think itll get easier but it only gets harder. You were the best friend i ever had. The one person who truly ever knew me. The fun we had together..never will someone know me like you.

Amanda & David

Just checking in....
Been thinking about you a bunch lately.
Nothing in particular....just miss you.
We all flew out to Washington and drove down to Portland, Oregon for Amanda's wedding this past August. I know - can you believe it. She looked so wonderful and grown-up.
I took Logan to the Iwo Memorial again for Veterans' Day to pay our respects....and boy does he have a ton of insightful questions.
We met two WW2 Marines that day - that was cool.
Miss you man.....

Dooo..de! So I'm gonna be a daddy all over again (and you'd be an uncle). Baby girl due in May. Crazy how time flies. Can't believe it's been 6 1/2 years. Miss ya' man.

Love you man!
Yeah - I miss those words.
Yesterday was National Siblings Day - of course Heather had to remind me. And it just got me to thinking....what if... the photo of your family was just amazing!! They've all grown SO much!

Even 5 years later I still miss you so much. Your oldest is leaving for college in 6 weeks...letting go is so hard. Youd think Id be getting good at it. the girls hurt so much....we all do

To the family and friends of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Scott A.M. Oswell:
