Not sure what to say?

Beth,

Scott and I were close friends at Georgetown and he really was the best guy. My wife Nora and I had the chance to briefly visit you several years ago when we drove up from San Antonio, and we enjoyed meeting your girls at your home before you and Scott took us out to dinner. Scott will be missed, most of all by you and the family, and also by his many, many friends, clients, and people that he has helped.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Beth,
My deepest condolences to you and your girls. Eventhough it has been years, we were once part of the AMD Family together and it seems like just yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sharon (Allen) Walters

My deepest condolences to the entire Ozmun family. It was a pleasure to know Scott as a friend and law school classmate. I hope that memories of Scott will bring you comfort in this diffcult time.

Beth--you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Our community was fortunate to have Scott's great leadership and enthusiasm for life. May God comfort you and give you strength, my friend. - Martha Smiley

I am shocked to hear of the death of my cousin. I extend my deepest sympathies to his immediate family and my Aunt Peg & Uncle Bob. Although, I never had the opportunity to personally get to know Scott; he lived, for me, through the stories shared by my parents and the entire extended Ozmun family. May these stories and memories comfort and support you all through this very difficult time… With much love,

Beth, Delaney and Kendall, I so wish I could be there in Texas today to be part of the outpouring of support at this time. While I am not there, I am in spirit as well as prayer [that Catholic upbringing!]. Scott Ozmun ranks amongst one of the finest human beings I have had the privilege to know as a friend and classmate.

His zest for life has always been an inspiration to me and to all our friends from Georgetown. That zest is now an eternal flame.

Godspeed Scott ....

We had the privilge of having Scott as our attorney years ago. It was a pleasure to have had him be a part of our lives, he is surely one of a kind individual and the love of his profession and his family always showed. Our deepest sympathy to his family, friends and collegues.

Dear Beth, Delany, Kendall, and Mr. and Mrs. Ozmun,

As Scott’s fellow traveler during his student government presidency at Georgetown, the other half of Ozmun/Hughes, I had the good fortune of seeing the qualities that would make Scott such a terrific husband, father, son, friend, lawyer, politician, and judge. Scott was passionate about his beliefs, dedicated, caring, funny, and…persuasive. I vividly remember the day when Scott and his already-on-board campaign manager, Ken...

Dear Beth and Family, we were so saddened to learn of Scott's passing. It was just over a year ago that we had such a wonderful visit with you and Scott in Austin. He was such an inspirational person in so many ways. From his unselfish efforts in student government and as student body president at Georgetown to his stellar career as a compassionate lawyer in Texas to his courageous battle with cancer he always carried himself with class and dignity. Scott cherished you and the girls so much....
