Not sure what to say?

I knew Scott when I was a freshman at Eastman and feel very fortunate to have been around him. I remember that Mahler 3 concert that Matt Witten spoke about, and I remember feeling much the same way. It didn't take long once you knew Scott to be inspired by his musicianship and his kind nature. He was a wonderful guy, a fantastic musician, and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family.

I just found out that Scott passed away. My condolences to his family. I knew Scott back in high school, we were in the same Spanish class. We spent many days working on our final exam, which was a silly cooking show in Spanish. He acted as well as produced our cooking show on video. He had a great imagination. I was hoping to catch up at our 10 year high school reunion. I am grateful that I knew him.

Love,
Suzy

I came to know Scott when he was a finalist for a vacancy in the Houston Symphony a few years ago. It was a privilege to get acquainted with him and to have him play in the orchestra for a week. We spent a good bit of time together and I could easily see that he was a gifted musician and a very fine human being. I share in the grief that you all must feel; what a loss. My heart goes out to his family and friends. You are in my prayers.

I recently received the news of Scott's passing this past weekend and was deeply saddened. My thoughts and prayers are with you Robin. Scott was a great person and an extremely talented trombonist.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Scott. To Robin and his family, you are in our thoughts.

We would like to send our deepest condolences to Robin, Mr. and Mrs. Parkinson and Jennifer for their loss. We feel very fortunate to have been such a large part of Scott's life throughout Eastman, Julliard and in Buffalo. Scott was a truly amazing friend and musical inspiration to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Scott's family: I am so sorry for your loss. When I was a freshman, Philharmonia performed Mahler's third Symphony which most of you will know has a huge trombone solo that Scott played (and nailed it I might add). I just remember being so amazed, asking nearby friends, who is that? His playing was an inspiration to anyone you ask. Scott will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Scott's family. It is terribly sad to have lost such a wonderful person. I will miss him.

Scott was a wonderful, generous and fun-loving friend, and I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. I have many warm memories of our road trip adventures and of the time we spent together at Eastman and Aspen. My deepest condolences to Robin and to all of Scott's family.
