Not sure what to say?

I came across former ACA Scott Rogers when I was observing a hearing as a young undergraduate student. He was very helpful and answered all my naive questions. 5/6 years later, I am about to graduate law school, and from Windsor Law as well like him. I was going to email him with news of my graduation but alas, I came across this news. In just one meeting, he changed the course of my legal inspiration with his kindness and initiative to mentor. Lots of thoughts and prayers for the family. I...

I am yet another ACA from Scarborough who was blessed to have Scott as a mentor, colleague and a friend. Scott was the very best of all the things that we all aspired to be. He always did the right thing, especially when it was the most challenging thing to do. Thank you for sharing your husband, father and sibling with us. I´m sure that wasn´t easy, but your sacrifice and his spirit will live on in all of us. My thoughts are with you, Kim, and the girls.

I was so heartbroken to hear of the loss of our loving friend, Scott. He was not only a true friend, but a very kind soul. He always cared deeply for all the others with whom he shared his loving thoughts. He touched the lives of all of us. The memories of Scott will forever remain deep in our hearts. My prayers and sincere condolences go to all of Scott's family.

Our deepest condolences to the Rogers Family. We had the privilege of Scott attending my son's baseball game in London, ON. He gave us all a good laugh when he would shout out "Hakim" & "Lens Crafters" to the umpire's bad calls...haha!! His humour was next level & will be truly missed xoxo

This beautiful obit shows that he made so much difference in the short time he had here. Scott was always a gentleman. I hope he rests well, and my condolences to his family for their loss.

I was so sorry to learn of Scott's passing. Prior to COVID, I would see him often for positions for my clients. I remember one of the last times, Scott showed real compassion for one of my clients. He understood the issue was mental health and we came up with a solution that truly benefitted my client.

A tremendous loss of a very cool dude. We'd meet for a pretrial, and Scott would tell me beautiful stories about eating oysters from the river on Vancouver Island. I want to find that river Scott.

I was saddened to learn of Scott's passing. He was truly one of a kind. I recall his first correspondence to me that was so skillfully written that I smiled despite it being a deconstruction of my position. Later, I had the pleasure of working across Scott on a difficult homicide. He made the process better with his presence. We laughed and ended as true 'friends' You will be missed!

Scott´s passing will leave a huge hole in the Scarborough crowns office which won´t be able to be filled. He was lost to us far too soon and we will miss him. To his family, I wish you strength to get over this tragic loss.
