My heart goes out to the families, friends and all the people that Scott touched. We flew quite a bit together in the past year and I enjoyed spending time with Scott and Angie. I have know Scott since the very beginning days flying ATL out of the PDX base and have always enjoyed our conversations. Scott had a huge heart, a great sense of humor and a casual, loving way about him. I will hold in my memories forever going biking in Amsterdam, a day of sightseeing and great discussions. I can't...

Dear Angie and Russell families. My heart goes out to each and every one of you at this time. I know from experience what a presence Scott was in our lives. We were friends from "way back" in the Western days. My years of commuting to Atlanta were made a lot more fun because Scott and I would fly Honolulu together. I liked to tease him about "being along for the ride" on Delta but boy could he surf and party once the plane landed. Miss you already, good Buddy. Robb Rosser

Fortunately, I had the great pleasure of flying the last two months with Scott. I always came home just smiling about the jokes and conversations that I had with Scott on the airplane. Flying with him was like being in a sitcom, we found more things to laugh about and find humour in . I am so so glad that I was able to have spent that time with him because I am so sad about him leaving too soon, like everyone that knew him , we just can't accept the fact that he is not longer with us on...

I was so sorry to hear about Scott passing away, he will surely be missed. I will remember Scott for the love and concern he had for his daughter and son and the way his face would light up whenever he spoke about Angie. May he rest in peace.

Scott and I were childhood friends and dated briefly in High School. 35 years went by living our lives when by chance our lives cross paths again at a local bar. We ended up living only blocks away and knowing some of the same people! I'm in shock and my heart is heavy. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure to fly with Scott in March to Amsterdam, after so many years that had past from our early days in Hawaii,Salt Lake, Atlanta, and this trip with him in Portland. We had lots of laughs on the trip in spite of his hip pain that he did not let change his infectious laugh, and caring attitude that he gave everyone around him. My heartfelt condolences to his wife, kids, and the Russell family. He will remain the true spirit of Aloha forever in my memories.

It was over 30 years ago flying with Scott out of Hawaii. Lots of great memories on the plane, layovers, fun with our kids, and the beach. Rest in peace, brah.
