I knew Scotty to have such a giving heart. There was a period when I was in the Houston area, deployed to serve victims of Harvey. The church where we were staying was pretty full, and Scotty was only a few miles away. He offered his home to me so that I would have a place to rest peacefully at night, after a long, hard day of work, I was able to get to know him over those few days.
