Not sure what to say?

what a wonderfull person he made a diffence to so many lives

I remember first meeting both Scott and Julie when they first began their anesthesia careers at French Hospital Medical Center before starting their family. What I remember the most about both Scott and Julie is how kind, genuine, friendly, professional and beautiful they both were! They were most definitely a breath of fresh air in what had become a bit of a stuffy old hospital. They brought with them a new positive energy, a friendliness and comfort to their patients and families....

If I may add a sweet story about Dr. Smelser. I was pleased to have Dr. Smelser for one of my surgeries, early on in his practicing in SLO. He listened to my concerns and I woke up feeling great. For my next surgery, I requested Dr. Smelser. He came into my pre-op room and sat down to put in my IV. I am a retired L&D nurse from SVRMC. I loved working with Scott, he was always a calming influence in every situation. My sympathy goes out to his family. He was taken too soon.

DEAR SABRINA.WHAT A WONDERFUL LETTER ABOUT A GREAT PERSON. SCOTT IS SO PROUD OF HIS FAMILY AND WILL ALWAYS BE WATCHING OVER YOU. LOVE KEN AND LORETTO

May the love of friends and family carry you through this time of sorrow. The remembrance of your Father was very heartwarming. Anyone that knew him...knew this to be so true.
To Julie and your loving family, my deepest and sincerest sympathy.

What a beautiful remembrance you’ve written. Your father was the anesthesiologist for me when I had my first daughter in 1998 (via c-section). His calm demeanor and warmth helped me so very much at a time when I was nervous and in pain, and I have always remembered him. He had such kind eyes. I am so sorry for your loss.
