Not sure what to say?

I never had the chance to meet my grandpa but my mom Emily talked about him and that he was saving my uncle so he wouldn't die. I love him so much even do we have never met.

Scott was one of my best friends during my teenage years. He & I were always on the same baseball team for 7 years until high school when we were the Monterey Bay League Champs our senior year (1974) at Soquel High School. He taught me a lot about life at such an early age, about the sanctity of family, and God's Plan of Salvation. When Scott's Mom passed away from that car accident back in 1973 it could have devasted a normal kid. But not Scott. He was special, peculiar, different, and an...

Easy-going, dependable, hardworking: these are the words that come to mind when I think of my teacher-colleague at California Men's Colony, Scott Snider. We all got to smell his wonderful home-cooked lunches from home, read his newspaper, hear his heart-warming stories of his family, and benefit from his gardening expertise on any question a colleague could ask. I will always treasure the memories of looking out of my classroom to see and hear Scott give horticulture tours to his students,...

I never Knew Mr. Snider but I did go to school with his son, Scott. I am very sorry for your loss and I pray that God help you through this hardship. You are in my prayers.

I always knew Scott Snider as Mr. Snider or Scotty's dad. I always saw him around town with one of his kids or at track meets. He always had something clever to say and had a constant smile. I loved seeing him drive around town in his blue and white suburban with the whole family piled in. I'll miss our hello's around town mr. Snider.

I worked with Scott some years ago at CMC. He always had a smile that brightened an otherwise dreary place. I remember the gardens he created there, the homemade cinnamon roles he brought us and always his cheerful personality. He clearly loved his family so much and I know he will always be with them in spirit. Thank you Scott for your tremendous warmth! We will all miss you.

My Uncle Scott was such a great man! He was only 10 when I was born and I had the gift in my life of knowing him from a time when he was still just a kid himself. My earliest memories are those of him lighting fireworks on the 4th of July, his face absolutely filled with glee! I was fortunate enough to return to CA in July of 1999 I spent the day at the beach with him and his family and again saw that same delight as he barbequed burgers, dug and built a firepit and stayed until late in the...

Even when he was a boy of 8, when I met him, it was obvious Scott would grow up to become a great guy. Solid. Honest. Industrious. And helpful. Our world was a better place because of all the lives he touched.
