Not sure what to say?

Caryn,

I ran into you and Scott at the doctors office, back in October. I hadn't seen Scott since he had graduated from Manchester and was happy to reunite with him and meet you. I will always remember this day....

I feel so blessed, to have been able to talk with him one more time - not knowing of his illness, and also to have met you. I just recently read about Scott in the Manchester Alumni magazine and was so shocked, very saddened and thought for sure this was a...

Caryn, Sarah, Rachel and the Snodgrass family,

I just learned of Scott's passing a few hours ago when I ran into Rob Swihart. Words are inadequate right now.

Scott was and always will be a great person. Deb and I extend our deepest sympathies to Caryn and Scott's entire family.

To the Snodgrass Family,

I learned this week of Scott's passing in the Manchester newsletter. I was a 1985 graduate with Scott and played football with him during our four years at school. My most sincere sympathies go out to you and your family for this loss. Although I had not stayed in contact with him, I have a good feeling for how he would have lived his life and am sure the impact of his passing on all of you cannot be described. I will pray for you and please know I was...

I'll never understand why good people leave us so soon. Can't believe it's been 25 years since I met Scott across the hall in Schwalm "Hole" at Manchester in 1981. He was a great buddy to me during our years there. I remember him crushing my pack of smokes in his hands of steel to try to get me to quit. Truly one of the finest gentlemen i've ever encountered, and a great example of how jocks and nonjocks could be friends. We shared a love of music that rocks; i think the Rush Moving pictures...

We found out about Scott's passing only recently when we read the news from Manchester College. As an underclassman, I always looked up to Scott, as I know most people have. I have always had a great deal of respect for Scott, and Tami and I both will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

I was shocked and saddened to just hear about Scott's passing. I went to Manchester and played football with Scott and have so many memories of life in "The Hole" with Scott as my R.A. Notre Dame football games and spaghetti dinners at the Snodgrass home are such fond memories.

My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Dear Caryn,Sarah, Rachel and the Snodgrass family,
I loved Scott. He was a very caring person. When my husband had to move to Texas to work for about 2 years, Scott would always make sure I was fine and cheer me up if I was down. He would call my girls and make sure that they did their homework and did not get into any trouble. They really thought he was cool. I will miss so many things about Scott. And I know all the PeopleSoft folks will miss his "fall out shelter" cube.
I think...

Does this mean I have to cheer for Notre Dame?

He did it – he finally made me speechless. 20 years of friendship – I honestly don’t know where to start to describe what he meant to me.

Based on everyone’s entries here – it’s obvious that he’s touched so many people in so many different ways. He was The Rock, the person everyone knew they could count on. But to me, he as just a bit more – he was the overprotective big brother...

Caryn, Rachel, Sarah and the Snodgrass family,
I went to school with Scott at Manchester and still remember the first time I met Scott. Dan Walker introduced him and Arnie Brown. Scott always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. Although I had not seen Scott in several years, I will miss him.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
