Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs Speake
I have just learned of Scotts death. I am truly sorry. Be comforted by the fact that I have great memories in grade school and high school. I lost contact after Carroll but recall him often. May God Bless and comfort you.
John P Cooney

Harold, I am so glad you called me. I did not know about your son's passing or I would have contacted you. You really have a wonderful attitude and I am glad that you know the COMFORTER (Holy Spirit) The HS has a way of getting us through trying times.

Hello Mary Lou,
I tried calling several times after Jimmy Doyle told me about my dear friend Scott. He and I were always matched up in grammar school because we were the same height. I was sad to hear that Scott died and I hadn't seen him in many years. He used to come over to Gulf Shores and visit me (and my ex wife Pam) He always liked Pam better, but he has always been my dear friend. Just want you to know that I will miss him and only look forward to the great day that we will be...

Harold, Mary Ann, Vicki and Ruthie,
I was so sorry to hear of Scott's death. I have not seen him in years but have fond memories of visits when ya'll first moved back to Speake. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Scott was a wonderful human being and a careing and compassionate man.All who knew him were blessed.Scott was funny, smart and a great guy.The world will miss Scott.

Scott was a wonderful attorney and a truely wise man.The world has lost a great man.We will all miss him and we will never forget him.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Speake and Ruthie. I am so sad to hear of Scott's death. We have been friends since Birmingham in the '80s and have kept up in visits and emails. We had a great pre-Katrina visit with my husband and three kids and have talked and emailed often enough to keep up. It is impossible that I can't call him and hear him say something is 'outrageous!' I will miss him so very much.

I was so sorry to learn of Scott's death. He was a wonderful volleyball player and I enjoyed the years we played at Audubon Park. He will be missed.

Ruth, I was so sorry to read of Scott's, death in the paper. I don't have a current address for you, but I did want to express my sympathy to you and your family. I hope you get this note and that I will see you in Birmingham soon. Take care.
