I tried calling several times after Jimmy Doyle told me about my dear friend Scott. He and I were always matched up in grammar school because we were the same height. I was sad to hear that Scott died and I hadn't seen him in many years. My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Speake and Ruthie. I am so sad to hear of Scott's death. We have been friends since Birmingham in the '80s and have kept up in visits and emails. We had a great pre-Katrina visit with my husband and three kids and have talked and emailed often enough to keep up. It is impossible that I can't call him and hear him say something is 'outrageous!' I will miss him so very much.
