Scott Erich Sunkimat

Scott and I knew each other for some 18 years and were best friends for the last 13. His death is a tragedy that cannot be explained or understood, but if you knew Scott you would know that he would not want sorrowful goodbyes. He would want us to rejoice the life that he lived and the exuberance with which he lived it. I will always love him, cherish his memory and appreciate the time I was given with him and his family. I love you my friend. You will be forever a piece of my heart.

Scott was a very close childhood friend of mine, our houses were back to back growing up. I have some of the fondest memories of my life from this time and Scott played a large role. I will never forget swimming, going to the boardwalk, riding bikes, laughing and being friends. I will never forget listening to Journey and other cheesy music. I will never forget Scott and how much he means to me. I haven't lived in Point Pleasant in 20 years and I haven't seen Scott in 2 years, but, everytime...
