Not sure what to say?

In the studio of Cardinal Television.

It was a privilege to have known Scott and to see how many students he inspired to pursue careers in health care. His passion for his work came through in an interview we recorded for our educational access programming (http://www.livestream.com/cardinaltv/ see Episode 21 of Our Community Forum). All who knew Scott will miss him, and we offer condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

Scott: you are my sister's oldest son and I can't tell you how much time I spent with your folks, you and Karen. Then we moved out of Omaha and at that time out of touch. I am a newbie to Facebook and computer places other than the simple email, but I want you to know and your family to know how proud I am of you living a Christian life and being such a good role model to so many people. We will miss you and I love you very much. Aunt Iris

Hello Ms. Cindy, and daughter Kim and son, Scott Swigart and family: My heartfelt sympathies and condolences to you and your family on the untimely demise of my beloved teacher, Dr. Scott Swigart at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy in 1985. He was always a smiling and happy-go person. We will all miss him. May God Almighty bless you all with peace and comfort at this difficult time. Ramadas Balasubramanian-Charlotte, North Carolina 12-28-14

I knew you as a student, pharmacy resident, colleague, educational innovator, cancer camp volunteer, & especially as an always "fabulous" friend. May you rest in the peace of knowing you made a difference in so many lives. Cindy, Kim & Aaron; thank you for sharing Scott with all of us. He will remain in my prayers.

Even though we didnt spend much time together as kids all of my memories are fond ones. I will forever remember him always studying and when he wasnt he was living life to the fullest with that big infectious smile.

Cindy, Very sorry to hear of Scott's passing from Ruth Lund. Marilyn and I send our prayers for God's comfort and blessings.

Scott and family, We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Thinking of you, Steve and Kym Bowman

Cindy, Aaron, and Kim - Our hearts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Scott was one of those ‘larger than life' figures that touched so many people in a personal way, and all of us at your St. Paul South Florida family were truly blessed by the time you both spent down here. Scott was someone who always “made a difference”, and we are fortunate to count him as a true friend. Warren, Kathy, and Becky Grafer
