Not sure what to say?

We met Scott when our son, Nick, and his daughter Hannah were students at Climbing Tree School. We remember him as a really nice guy...and a very skilled carpenter. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

I knew Scott as my sister Mary's husband, and my niece Hannah's Dad. We had many good times together--visiting Hoffmeister State Park on Lake Michigan, playing badminton, or just going to a local pub like the Cottage Bar for Mexican food and beer. I met Scott in 1995. We shared a love of volvos, car racing, and nature. He was the funniest man I’d ever met. We used to have many adventurous road trips. I was grateful I got to see Bo Diddley with him and watch his face light up like it was Christmas. I’ll miss our long walk and talks in nature. See you on the other side Scotty.

Many blessings and healing love to the family. Scott was one of the funniest men I’ve ever met. He was truly one of kind and we had a great friendship. I’ll never forget going to see Bo Diddley with you. See you on the other side Scotty. Love you sport.

Scott was a loyal supporter of the West Michigan Blues Society. His love and knowledge of Blues was well regarded in the West Michigan area. Scott and I shared many late afternoon Brews at Billy's Lounge, where we discussed music and life, in particular. I am grateful Scott shared his friendship with me. He will be missed.
