Scott Thompson

I am late in posting this memory of Scott, and we are sorry for the lateness of this post, but we were shocked and saddened to learn of Scott's death. So unexpected, and we'd been trying to reach him only to find out that he had passed. We knew Scott for about five years as we'd met him at the dog park where he would bring Suzie who would play with our German Shepherd, Lilly. I'm very saddened to learn of this today and will keep his family in my prayers. He was one of our gaming group's "walking library" who knew about more history then many of my college instructors back in the day. His wit and humor will be sorely missed around the game tables. Rest in peace my friend.

Scott will be deeply missed. He and I traveled to Pennsylvania together for nearly 20 years. His depth of knowledge and sense of humor are legendary and I was always amazed that our conversations could go without pause for the entire 12 hour drive. I particularly enjoyed his retelling of his father's stories from the second world war, being a former marine myself. I offer my condolences to his family and I hope they know he was considered a great guy by all who knew him.
