July 18, 1953 - August 27, 2016
Milledgeville , GA- Scott Moye Tidwell, 63, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Greenwood Baptist Church at Noon with the Rev. Kim Washburn officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the church. Burial will be private. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Animal Rescue Foundation, 711 S. Wilkinson St., Milledgeville, GA 31061.
Scott was born in Macon, Georgia to James M. Tidwell and the late Joan G. Tidwell. He was a project superintendent for Trend Construction Company. Scott was a member of Cross Keys Baptist and attended Greenwood Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Lois J. Tidwell of Milledgeville, father, James M. Tidwell of Macon, five sons, Clayton (Christie) Tidwell of Gray, Scotty Tidwell of Garden City, GA, Marcus (Charity) Tidwell of Wellington, New Zealand, Jacob Tidwell of Oklahoma City, OK, Kalab (Amy) Tidwell of Goldsboro, NC, seven grandchildren, Cayden and Colin Tidwell, Taylor and Kimber Tidwell, Tucker and LJ Tidwell, Abel Tidwell, brother, Barry (Cynthia) Tidwell of Macon, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
