Not sure what to say?

The years go by but my memories and my love for Scott will live in my heart forever. A true friend and the best husband to Jeri.

Your son has shared so many stories with me that I feel your family's loss deeply. May God bless you, your family and the memories you created.

Dear Jeri, You have been on my mind lately. I went on the internet to try to find you. Unfortunately, I found Scott's obituary instead. I knew him from St. Gerald's school. He was a great guy even in grade school. You are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need to talk, I can be reached at 407-222-5677. Becky Roberts Johnson

Thanks to CJ Kupec for sharing, our family can read all the wonderful memories of Scott. It has been years since we were friends at Saint Gerald's, but many times over the years I have wondered where Scott was. I was over near the Oak Lawn house a few weeks ago and was remembering the Trapp family again. I also lost my husband, at 51 years. Way to young. But it sounds like you have wonderful memories that will ease your pain. We are always telling "Ken" stories. That is what you will do with...

Scott will surely be missed by all the girls in the lab at Lemmen Holton. We enjoyed our conversations with him and admired his strength and courage through so many treatments. He had such a positive attitude and a great love for God, which showed in his gentle nature and concern for others. He talked of his wife, children and grandchildren with much love and true joy! Our sympathy goes out to his whole family.

Hi Dad. I'm too chicken to speak at your funeral, but if I did, here is what I would want to say to everyone:

I went to spend time with my father at the Lemmon Holten Center after I got the news that they were stopping treatment. Before I left to bring him home, I told Mom and my husband that this was either going to be a great decision or a terrible one. Turns out it was the best. We shared such a wonderful moment together. When I got there, we started talking, and my dad...

Whether pitching a baseball, making a tackle or being a loyal friend, the common denominator was Scott performing with a huge and loving heart. For almost 50 years, I had the gift of Scott's friendship. And, over those years, the hallmark of our friendship was to be able to pick up the phone, call each other, and converse as though we had just seen one another the day before...even though, at times, too many months may have elapsed. His sincerity was special. May God bless Scott, Jeri,...

My grandpa is my favorite person in the world. I talk about him all the time, especially all of the times he would take me on the "tractor" with him. My grandpa taught me how to do all of my favorite things - use the hose, use a car buffer, hit nails, and use hammers. When my mommy and daddy told me my grandpa went to be with God in heaven, I asked "where'd he go?" They told me that he went up in the sky. So I replied, "Up in the clouds with the airplanes?" and they told me yes. I love my...

I only knew my grandpa for a short while (5 months), but I loved him from the first day I saw him. My grandpa saw me smile and laugh. I have the same twinkle in my eyes that my grandpa had. I hope someday that I can be as good of a man as my grandpa. Grandpa, I love you so much!
