I am just now hearing of Scott's all-too-soon passing, from his good friend, Nicki Scales (I just did a recording project w. Nicki in Amarillo). I was Scott's jazz instructor at Houston H. Scott's generosity and compassion will be greatly missed. He dedicated his life to two of the most important factors of my life music and the rescue of animals. I am so appreciative of his sharing his musical expertise with my son and it is my honor to donate to both "Kittico" and "Operation Kindness" in his memory. Dear Robin and family,
We are saddened to hear of Scott's passing this week. I will never forget his gentleness and caring. I remember he would visit us in Friendswood back in 1980s and would play with Mary and Jennifer while I cooked dinner. I have pictures of him at St Barnadas during a music session.
