Not sure what to say?

Scott was a special childhood friend of mine. We grew up across the street from each other, and played around the neighborhood on many occasions. Scott was always very independent, and you always knew he had a vision in life to carry out, even at a young age. He was mature among his peers, and always kept a positive attitude. He ultimately had many friends who looked up to him. We lost touch for the most part after grade school, as my family moved and we went to competing high schools. We...

I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. ((HUGS))

Thinking of you, Denise, also Warren and Barry, as we make plans to celebrate Scott's life with you in AZ.

I think of you often and am grateful to Facebook for keeping us in touch, even if not close by. I am also grateful you found your love and the man that would help you thrive and continue your love of adventure.

Scott was a very dear man and all who knew him will miss him dearly.

May you rest in knowing he will forever be in your heart, mind and soul and will be watching over you from Heaven above.

Love always

Denise, thank you for reaching out to me upon reading of my husband's passing so that I could continue to keep you and Scott and all that know and love him in my prayers. I really wish there was some way I could make it to Durham! I'm so very sorry you're having to experience this kind of pain, but yes, as you said before, your Scott and my Joey are always going to be watching over us. May our beloved husbands' memories be Eternal!

I am so very sorry for your loss Denise. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Denise, I'm so sorry I can't be with you the day you celebrate Scott's life, and say goodbye for now. I was very moved by the words describing his life legacy. I wish I had met him, but I can see that he was a warm, loving, caring man, and I know he will be missed by many. My love to you. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss Denise. Scott was an incredible man with an infectious laugh and a warming smile. I will never forget the night we met him, how I embarrassed him (which was so easy to do) to get his attention and they way he looked at you when he first saw you. You two had a special love that lasts an eternity. I'm still in shock that he was taken so soon. It just doesn't seem fair! I'm just so thankful for the countless memories we all shared. I will never forget him! I Love...

I'm so sorry he is gone, Denise. For the few times I met him, he was truly a wonderful person to know.
