Not sure what to say?

You are missed everyday, Scotty.

Family, like branches on a tree, all grow in different directions, yet the roots remain the same. In Baptism, we are joined to Christ forever. Once we are washed in these waters, nothing can separate us from the love of God, for he is all forgiving. Gone from earth, but never forgotten. We must cherish the good memories he left behind.

On the anniversary of Scott's birth, I send my condolences to the Volk family. Scott was my first manager at Safeway and was both a great mentor and friend. I miss him and think of him often.

Scott won a place in many hearts that no one else can fill. I did not see him much, but he was loved by me and many. I know that God has welcomed him with open arms. Rest in peace nephew.

We heard of Scott's passing just today. Although I have been out of touch with him for several years, he is still one of my closest and dearest friends. What a great loss.
