Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of Scott and the Alamo Kiwanis Club. Just found about his passing. Such a good Christian man. He will be missed. Linda Hauser, former secretary of the Alamo Kiwanis Club.

I worked for Scott for 6 years. I just found out. I loved him like a brother.

To Jerry Wilson: Thank you, Jerry, for letting me know the rest of the story about Scott and the baseball tryout. I do not recall Coach Samuels telling me that he already knew Scott. I was just impressed with his ability as a ball player and thought he would be a good teammate, which he certainly was. I have thought a lot about Scott lately, and I am sorry for the loss to you, his wife, daughters, and the rest of the family.

Dearest Dee Ann, I was shocked and very saddened to learn of Scott's passing sudden today. Scott was a wonderful person and I witnessed him being a wonderful and fun husband and father. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Love, Alice Timmins

Sorry to hear about Scott. Great man. Many great memories of working for him during my 13 years at Jennings Anderson Ford. Had I known of his passing I surely would have attended his funeral. Doris and I have lived in Spring for the past 12 years, so we did not hear about his passing until after the funeral. Peace to you and all your family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jack Stacy

To Jeff Miller; I'm Jerry Wilson, Scott's brother. I don't know if you remember me, I graduated 1969 and played Varsity Baseball and Football. You are right on about the Pony League draft. The coach you spoke of was Perry Samuels who was a family friend and his son Gary played with Scott and I in Little League. He wanted Scott on your team pretty badly and after the 1st day when the boys registered, Perry told Dad not to bring Scott to any more Tryouts. He wanted Scott on his team and didn't...

I had not seen Scott since our SWT days of the 1970s, but I always remember him fondly. He was the catcher on our Pony League team. I never told him, but I am pretty sure he was our first-round pick in the draft. I was a year older than Scott, and I went with our coach for the tryouts when Scott was 13. We were both quite impressed with Scott, and I was happy that we were able to get him for our team. It sounds like Scott did really well in life. I am proud of him, and I wish would have...

DeeAnn and family - we are saddened to hear of Scott's passing. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Scott was a good friend and a great community leader. With love - Paula and Ed

Deeann, We are so sorry for your loss. Scott will be sorely missed. He was a really good man.
