Scotty Duane Greer

I remember Roy would come home to Gautier after we moved to Lafayette just so his buddy could give him a haircut. They really enjoyed each others company and were good friends for many years.

Scotty was my husband's barber for ages. Roy would not go anywhere except to Scotty and they became very good friends. Even after we moved to Louisiana Roy would go back home for his haircuts. I'm sure they see each other in their heavenly home.

Scotty was Roy's barber for the longest time and Roy considered him a really close friend. Even after we moved to Lafayette, for years Roy would drive back to Gautier just for his haircut. Bet they are both chatting together up in Heaven right now.

So sad to hear of your passing, you were a great barber and even better friend an person. My condolences go out to your family. You Will Be Missed!

We have only just learned of Scotty's departure. We mourn the loss of our friend of almost four decades. Sincere condolences and prayers for Mrs. Greer and the family.

A trip to the barbershop got you more than a haircut; you also got an education on just about any subject. My regret is that I did not have more time with Scotty.

We will miss you and we will cherish our regular "visits". Many of us learned more at the barber shop than we did in school... at least that was what Scotty told us.

I am so very very sorry for your loss. Mr Greer was a great man and always made everyone feel special and loved. My heart is heavy for you all. Praying for you all.
