Sean, it breaks my heart to know you have left this world already. I will always cherish the days on the court with you and all the laughter we shared. You were a true friend and a leader. Your passion and drive for the game inspired us all. I hope you are at peace and hanging out with all the basketball greats.

Sean McMurtry was a presence on the basketball court. Tall and strong, he had the finesse of a smaller player, with a soft touch on his jump shot. He was a born competitor - and a welcome boon to our middle school team. You could make the argument he played a stretch four before it really existed. I never forget you kenny you were the most amazing free spirited beautiful person I'm going to miss your "hi im Kenny" we love u and miss you so much this world will not be there same without you love u boo!!!! My heart is broken and my condolences the family just know he made our lives a lil bit brighter and was definitely one of a kind he's going to be greatly missed and I send you all hugs I'm truly sorry for your loss.... hugs up in heaven to you kenny till we meet again
