I vividly remember it like it was a moment ago. I walked into my father's house and as always we talked about what was in the paper. He said did you see about that kid?, and I knew it was about your son having died. He said its such a shame, he was so young and its so close to Christmas.
My father owned a funeral home and it was not unusual for him and all of us to read the death notices. I don't know why, we always did and still do.
