Not sure what to say?

Sitting at work thinking about all that has changed in life. No matter what you feel or how you feel, time marches on. Grandson in in Corps, Granddaughter starting college, all the others growing like weeds. I miss you everyday, i carry things of yours with me everyday since I last saw you over the July fourth weekend in 2005, just before you shipped out. If you are reading this please let Mom know I miss her terribly but to be patient with me, I'll be along as soon as I finish up here. It...

Sitting at my shop working this morning, yup still working. Thinking where you would be, what our lives would be like. Pain never goes away, never lessons, you just learn to live with it. I miss you and wonder what craziness would be going on today, your birthday. Feel so much but I don't know the words to convey the emotions. Remembered daily, but especially on this day. You embodied Honor, Courage, Commitment.

Often you are remembered by the heroic way you died. But just as impressive is they way you lived. Yesterday was 15 years. Semper Fi

14 years later from the day, my face looks older, my beard is grayer, my body isnt as nimble, but the memory remains. The sounds from that day will never leave me.

But the story of you, Sgt Miles, will be told to my kids, grandkids and maybe even great grandkids.

I will never feel the pain that your family feels, but the pain is there. You were a hell of a Marine. You are still missed.

Semper Fi

To an honorable man that will not be forgotten. Your sacrifice is especially remembered on this day. You not only did amazing things the day you were killed, but regularly throughout that deployment. Rest Easy.

Honored beyond words by the family of Sgt Sean H. Miles with his Memorial Scholarship at Clover Hill High School today. My daughter was humbled to be so generously awarded in his memory. She takes his sacrifice for our country and his platoon very seriously. Thank you for never letting us forget the incredible man who inspired the named road on our campus. May God continue to bless his family and the memory of such an incredible son, husband, father and Marine who gave everything for...
