Sean Robert Reed

Sean Robert Reed, 22, loving son of Gretchen W. Reed, was received into Gods loving embrace on August 13, 2013. He shared his life and made beautiful memories with his grandparents Doris W. Reed and the late Robert H. Reed, aunts and uncles Heather R. Brakel (Kevin), Gaye R. Martin (Tom), Robert L. Reed, and the late Dr. Jennifer R. Bakker (Abe), cousins Hillary B. Barile, Lauren B. Carter, Blair A. Bakker, Killian H. Brakel, Devin R. Brakel, Vera R. Martin, Reed T. Martin, Marion E. Martin, and countless family and friends. Born in Bridgeton, NJ, attended Rutland High School, VT, graduate of West Windsor –Plainsboro High School North, NJ, Bridgton Academy, ME, and attended Middlebury College, VT. He coached gymnastics to children and volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Rutland. Perseverance, courage, commitment, and the love of sports enabled Sean to accomplish numerous high athletic achievements in gymnastics, track, lacrosse, and football. Sean's modest manner while pursuing athletic excellence made him a natural team leader that inspired many to excel. He also enjoyed hiking, camping, skiing, kayaking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Sean's quiet manner and genuine love for people resulted in his ability to positively influence a wide range of individuals from various age groups. Sean effortlessly connected with people through his kind, gentle soul. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be profoundly missed. The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug 16, 2013, 4-8pm at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ and on Saturday, Aug 17, 2013, 9-11am at the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, 154 S Mill Rd, Princeton Jct, NJ.
