RIP Doc - you are a hero - thank you for your service.

Semper Fi, Brother....

As the Senior Board Member of the American Association of Navy Hospital Corpsmen, I want to send my sincere condolences to you and your family. The words of his fellow Corpsmen and Marines speak powerfully for what a fine young man he was and we are all the lesser for his passing. I feel particularly sad because we both live in Boise and I wish I could have done something to prevent his loss. My thoughts are with you at this time. Steven F. Scanlin, Chief Hospital Corpsman (Honorary), USNR...

Wish we could've talked more, it was good to talk to you while I had the chance. Was hoping to see you again someday when I take a road trip out there. I wish you would've reached out to me, I wish I could've talked to you before this maybe I could've helped. I'll miss you man.

I was his squad leader at Field Medical Training. Sean was a very talented and a very smart guy. Sean, brother, I can't believe you're gone. You may rest and peace, brother!

My deepest condolences to your family. I remember Sean fondly from high school theater. He was always so nice and entertaining. I'm proud of his service to our country. May your family find peace among this difficult time. Thank you for bringing mental health and the importance of it to light and trying to help others that may be in the same position.

Sean - you were a good friend to my kids, and so smart and funny ! You will be dearly missed

Your son was an excellent Corpsmen. I hope that you can take pride and embrace during this time knowing that he had a great impact on many of us in the Marine Corps. My deepest condolences for your loss. Semper Fidelis Doc! - Corporal Bagwell, USMC.

In 2013, I returned from my first and only combat deployment in Afghanistan. In the Marine Corps, we have the greatest Corpsmen who watch out for us.. but they always come with a little dose of crazy, almost mad scientest like....

Doc, when I heard that you had passed I could not believe it. I am glad I had the opportunity to serve along side you. I will always be grateful for your help during my retirement. Semper Fi!

I never knew Sean, but I know depression. I am so sorry for your loss, you will be in my prayers. Thank you for sharing your loss and helping others to know that there is help.
