Born on February 25, 1932 in Puente de Ixtle Morelos, Mexico. The bracero program led him to Hollister and then to Sonoma County where he loved and cared for Mother Earth, planting and harvesting many crops throughout the region working the lumber mills in Casadero and Annapolis. Maintaining the grounds of
Cardinal Newman High School (five years) Sonoma State College (25 years/retired), provided a good life for his wife of 60 years, Sofia, and the kids:, Yolanda Cervantes (Elicieo) Esteban Millan, Refugio Millan, Maria Macias (Manuel) and Roberto Millan (Brianna). Abuelo to eight grandkids and five great grandkids. Tio, Nino and Amigo to many other family members and friends.
To have known Sebastian was to love him. Always smiling, a simple, sweet, beautiful man, always willing to help those in need.
Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Pleasant Hill mortuary Sebastopol viewing from 3 to 5 pm.followed by a rosary.
Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Saint Sebastian's Church, Sebastopol, Funeral Mass at 11 AM followed by burial at Sebastopol memorial cemetery.
