MOM AND DAD

Mother Duffy,

We love and miss you so much. A strong creative woman like you, Mom, doesn't come along very often. We are and will always be very lucky kids (and Dad certainly must be included in the lucky in love group).

WE must thank Jim and Kathryn for taking such loving care of you.........Amen.

A list of love from your family to you dearest mother:

Harry J "Lucky Dad & Loving Husband"
Michael and Sherry

Steven and Yvi

Mother Duffy,

Great news. I will be inducted into the World Drum and Bugle Corps Hall of Fame in Rochester, New York, September 2-3, 2011. This was made possible by your and Father Duffy's support through the years.

All my love.

Michael John

The birds take wing
As life moves on
To you we sing.....

Hi Mom,

I retired from Boeing. What a great experience to be part of such a dynamic team. I take away great memories and lessons learned.

I miss you.

Michael

Dear KC, Jim, Michael and Steven,
Your mother was an angel and an inspiration. She has touched so many lives because she truly cared and took the time to reach out to family and friends. We will miss her deeply. I will miss my long conversations with her over the phone and especially miss her advice on life. The girls will miss her kindred spirit, unique gifts and nack for poetry. But most of all we will miss her smile which portrayed her love for life and everyone and everything in...

Kasey and Family, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I loved her so much and found a great friend and neighbor in her. My mother (Birdie) had for years all the Christmas and Halloween decorations she, your mom and Shirley Salyer made together one time (I think it was the year my mom was pregnant with me). I, too, remember the green lightbulb and witch's costume at Halloween. I am STILL scared of witches to this day Ü. I loved to go to her house after school and sit at the...

I look at the obits daily, but rarely see someone I know who has passed away. It was wonderful and sad to see the picture of Irene there on Sunday. I have so many fond memories of her and I know that my mother (Birdie) loved Irene and had many many great times together with her. The thought that first comes to my mind about your mother is from my childhood. I remember her dressing up like a witch at Halloween. Try as I might....I could not see the wonderful, loving, sweet, kind women...

Dear Jim, KC, you know that you have been my second family for the past 30 years. Although I was away for a time I returned and was treated taken back in as if I was never gone. I loved your mom dearly and she always brightened my day and made me feel very loved. I will miss her greatly. I am blessed to have you still in my life. Nancy Traub

Dear Michael, Jim, Steven and KC, Long ago, about 1964, we moved next door on NE 127th. I was a young mom w/ 4 kids and your mom was such a friendly neighbor. If I needed advice or sugar or help in any way, she was there. After about 2 or 3 years we moved, however I have never forgotten her kindness.
