Fr. Sennen and I go back many years. We were stationed together in Nara, Japan with the 8th Field Artillery Batallion of the 25th Infantry Division. When I became ill and was hospitalized in Osaka Fr.Sennen (Charlie or "Sandy") was one of two soldiers who visited me regularly in the hospital. --We met again in 1948 at St. Bonaventure.
