Not sure what to say?

I knew Serena from the Millburn Library Short Stories group - I am the moderator of the group and a librarian at Millburn. Serena was a mainstay in our group. She always came prepared with her well-thought out opinions. She was always making references to classic works of literature off the top of her head! (How? How?) She never stopped surprising me, she made me laugh, she made me want to be a stronger person, and she will definitely be missed.

Serena was a highly respected member of our short story group in the Millburn Library. Her insights, her incisive analysis and observations always added a great perspective and a valuable POV. Thanks to her modesty, little did we know of her other extraordinary accomplishments and experiences. She will be greatly missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I knew Serera from her time on the Friends of the Millburn Library Board. She was formidable and had a great heart. I always knew her to be highly accomplished but she was modest- so didnt know just how talented! I clearly recall on time when I was President and the board disagreed with my suggestion and I apologized. She called me right afterwards and said she knew my heart was in the right place and gave me some much needed advice...

Single Memorial Tree

I was very privileged to learn from your mother's contributions at the Millburn Library Short Stories Book Club. She was a role model to all.
