Serena was so special and caring. I can't believe she is no longer with us. She made it possible for two of our teachers to complete their Master's in Education. She also made it possible for two other teachers to take the Montessori Training in Dallas. She helped whenever she could. We need more people like Serena. May she rest in peace.

I found her today to write another thank you letter for her support. I am now in tears. You see, I am a recipient of a scholarship in her name. The first to graduate college in my family and receive my Master’s in Education with a specialization in Montessori. Her kindness led me to SMU.
