Serene M. Murphy

Remembering my dear, high school friend, Serene. We were best of friends while we were at Butler High School together. We went to Wednesday night CYO at Saint Anthony's Church almost every week.....Since neither of us drove, our parents shared our transportation to these events. Serene, Marty, my date and I went to our Senior Prom together and spent the next day at the Jersey shore.
Serene always had a smile on her face...lots of giggles...such a beautiful person inside and out. ...

Just came across Serene's passing on Google and I'm in disbelief! I'm an old friend of her sister-in-law's and I remember Marty and Serene. Serene was a very nice lady and I cherish fond memories of visiting them in Wellfleet (although they may not have remember that, it has stayed in my mind). I am deeply sorry for your loss. My best to Marty and the girls and all of her loved ones.

Dear Marty and Family,
I was heartbroken to hear about Serene. When I thought about our 50th BHS reunion I so hoped to see you two. Serene's smile and laugh are so fresh in my mind even though it has been years since we have seen eachother. She was one of my most special friends in high school.
