Serita Kerr Martin

Serita Kerr Martin, age 69 of Murfreesboro, TN, previously of Watertown, TN, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013.

A native of Carthage, TN, she was the daughter of the late Albert Cay Kerr, Sr. and Annabell Scott Kerr. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Luther Martin; two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Elder Sue Hutchinson and Elder David England will officiate. Burial will follow in Jones Hill Cemetery in Watertown, TN.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Reece and her husband Ron, and two grandchildren, Aaron and Evan Reece, all of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Charles W. Kerr of Lebanon, TN; and sister, Lillian Kerr Llewellyn and her husband Robert of Indianapolis, IN; along with many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Martin was a member and present pastor at Temperance Hall Pentecostal Church in Lancaster, TN. She was a graduate of Smith County High School.

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
