Seth S. Barton

In our kitchen, where we spend large parts of our day, a Kodak frame constantly runs through a thumb drive with hundreds of the Clare"s most memorable moments. Among them are several of Seth's visit to my families' retirement home on Long Island Sound in the early 1960's. Seth stands on the flying bridge skippering the Lucky Seas, our cabin cruiser. In another shot, Seth and my Dad hold a string of freshly caught blue fish. This triggers so many memories of a true friend. Dan Clare

The truest friend one could ever have. From the times we built snow igloos on Arlington Ave in the early 1940's until the phone calls just months ago, Seth always made sure we stayed in touch. Gwen and I are sorry we can't be with you all in person, but you will be there in our thoughts and prayers.
