Seth Ryan Hodge

Seth Ryan Hodge, 17, of Love, went to be with his Lord and Savior, with who he had a personal relationship, on Saturday, March 6, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born in Brevard County, Florida, on April 8, 1992.

Seth is survived by his parents, Pastor Mark and Mrs. Wendy Hodge; two sisters, Hannah and Sarah Hodge; his paternal grandparents, John and Charlotte Hodge; and his maternal grandparents, Jim and Vicki Warner.

Seth will be missed by his loving family and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Mountain View Mennonite Church, 55 Love Road, (Love) Lyndhurst, conducted by Pastor Earl Monroe.

Family and friends are invited to stay following the Celebration of Life for a meal and fellowship.

Burial will be private.

Seth and his dad were planning to go on a mission trip to Haiti this summer, thus, the family has suggested, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Haiti Relief Fund, c/o Mountain View Mennonite Church, P.O. Box 208, Lyndhurst, VA 22952.

Not sure what to say?

We wanted to say how much you all are in our prayers!!! Kierston and Seth were playmates as children. Mark, Wendy and Seth's sisters I pray God will bless you all through this tuff time. Annette and Kierston Lewis

I'm praying for your family and words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss.

Dear Hodges,

Why does God call his children home early? We can only imagine on this side of heaven. Know that now we only see in part, one day we shall see fully. Today we see partially the good that God is working for those who love him and live according to his purpose.

Now all we can see of God is like a cloudy picture in a mirror. Later we will see him face to face. We don't know everything, but then we will, just as God completely understands us.

Mark,Wendy our thought and prayers are with yall and your family.god bless yall. Dale,Laura and Brandon Puffenbarger.

Mark, Wendy, and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I was so heartbroken when i heard about Seth. I remember him when you taught my daughters girl scout troop in Ladd. He made the best of it hanging out with all those girls. Just know you are not alone at this time. Your in our thoughts, Kim, Charlie, and Brooke Boatner.

I'm praying for you and your family. We don't always unstand some of the reason God does things, but he knows what he is doing. Keep your faith in the Lord as I know you do God has added another angel.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Mark, Wendy, Hannah, and Sarah. I was so very saddened to hear of Seth's passing. I have so many fond memories of the times Seth, Hannah, and Sarah spent with me in my after-school program. Seth was always such a sweet and thoughtful boy and by all accounts he grew up to be a fine young man. Words cannot express my sorrow for your loss. Please know that my heart, thoughts, and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time.

Hannah and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you, as well as my family's. But we are thankful he is walking with Jesus now.
Love,
Ryan Elliott and family
