Not sure what to say?

Seth,
Tonight I felt compelled to write on this page because despite the years that have passed since you died, I think of you and the loved ones you left behind so often.

We were preschool buddies; you the ring bearer and I the flower girl at our teacher's wedding at age five. You
taught me how to ride a bike in an afternoon just a year or so later. We used to play for hours in your backyard, going faster and faster down your zip line or in your amazing basement building...

Seth and Karen were two of my coaches when I was a competitive gymnast with Classic gymnastics. Ian was born the night of one of our state meets. All of us gymnasts loved all 3 of you greatly. Our hearts were broken after Seth's accident and again when Karen moved away. Miss you all.

Today a close friend and classmate at the Academy ran into another at the Pentagon that was there in Djibouti with Seth when the accident occurred. Emotions ran high during the story as if it had just happened yesterday. The ultimate sacrifice made my our former Firstie at the boat school will never be forgotten. Fifth Company remembers you today Seth. We hope your family and son are doing well. Semper Fidelis

I did not know this soldier or his family. I grew up in Hudson and just found this guest book. My son is at the Air Force academy so this tragic story hits home as my son got injured during an AC-130 demonstration. Just a note to thank the family for their son's sacrifice.

Our family is perpetually grateful to Capt Seth Michaud for his service and sacrifice to this country. We offer peace and compassion to his family. Special blessings to his son Ian who we hope will always recognize that his father was a hero.

You have not been forgotten Seth.

To the family and friends of Capt. Seth R. Michaud:
Please accept my remembrance of Seth on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

To the Family of Capt. Seth R. Michaud:
We are remembering Seth on the anniversary of his passing with prayer and gratitude. The fallen American Heroes should never be forgotten. Our deepest sympathy and prayers go to you.
Marianne, Swen and Dietmar Steffens

My thoughts and prayers are with Seth's family approaching the anniversary of his passing. I was 15 years old when I signed on to the Presidential Prayer site and was assigned to pray for Seth. I still pray for his family, especially his son, Ian. May God give grace.
