Silas W. "Bill" Settle Jr., who was born December 17, 1950, to Silas W. "Bill" and Clara M. Settle, departed this life on Thursday,July 21, 2016.He leaves behind Sandy, his wife; and children and grandchildren, Heather Somerford and Lee, with children, Hadley, Levi and Maebree; Heidi Settle and Mary, with children, Patrick and Keegan; Holly Norman and Joe, with children, Linnea, Natalie and Cara.A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, July 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Worship Center of Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West Street, Culpeper. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24, 2016, 6 until8 p.m. in the Worship Center of Culpeper Baptist Church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Culpeper Baptist Church, Building Fund, 318 S. West Street, Culpeper, VA 22701; or to Pancreatic Cancer Research at www.lustgarten.org.Condolences may be given at clore-english.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA 22701.
